The shop Crane is in

Finally got my shop crane send home.

Had to putt it together, it aint much. It's chinese made but looks sturdy and well built.
cause it is chinese doesn't mean it is crap.

Half packed, i thank the neighbor for unknowingly loaning me his cart, to bring all this to my garage.

And as suggested, i know it is way more money and time spend then the car actually is worth. But it's worth it to me. Fully rebuild this car wont be much more worth then €1000,=   but it's full with little dents and scratches.
Most of the parts layed out over the floor.
 With wheels on it

The finished product, it can handle 2 tons of weight.
Now that would be enough to lift my complete car.
 Folded for storage.
And the engine stand is there aswell.

Total cost for crane + engine stand + Load leveler .
costed me 287,= now the tool cart against the wall included gave me enough price to get it with all this plus shipping for 284,=

Still a load of money for me, and now have to wait till December to get more tools for the rebuild.

Now this far i came and will continue within the next and try and get the engine out for the next weekend and oil it further so it wont rust on me.

I hope with this crane in the shop i can help a few more people and not use it once ore sell it again.

I am told is comes in handy aswell for the timing belt.

Well nice to add something to the blog again.

If you have any comments ore suggestions please send them in the comments below.

Thanks

JD

Financial Stress

Why  ?! cause i have to work and do not get payed.

Now at last, they send of my little salary from last few months. It ain't much though.
But it enough for me to buy an engine crane and an engine stand.
Maybe i get a little bonus with it, so i could buy my a real tool box.

And get started. So its slowly going on and yes as noticed it all depends on the money i can on this project.
It'll go stop and be putt in a freezer a few times. For now i really want that engine out there cause it's torn apart and mostly open to the elements, although its inside a garage. It still is ventilated.

Next to this project there is an other project going on at my buddy's place.
He has a Chrysler LeBaron sitting on his driveway. and needs some serious TLC.

It has a few little rust spots. But its there a long time and it hasn't bin growing.
Repairable things and above all the engine is a 2.2L Turbo and needs an overhaul.
as does mine really more then a rebuild.

So i'm hoping his funding is better then mine €85,= per month for tools and parts.
But i have to thank him for a generous donation.

So long.

Will update when i ordered some things.
